Skinny Beef Lasagna
Ingredients
- 8 oz. Sorrento® Part Skim Mozzarella, shredded
- 8 oz. Sorrento® Part Skim Mozzarella, diced
- 8 oz. Sorrento® Fat Free Ricotta
- 1/2 lb. Lasagna Noodles, cooked al dente
- 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
- 2 1/2 cups Tomato Sauce
- 2 tsp Fresh Basil Leaves
- 2 tsp Oregano, dried
- 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly oil a 9x13-inch baking pan. Mix the ricotta and diced mozzarella in a bowl. Set aside. Heat large pan over high heat. Brown beef for 4-5 minutes and drain. Add 2 cups tomato sauce, basil, oregano, and garlic. Continue to cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Place 3 noodles in pan. Top with half meat sauce and half cheese mixture. Top with 3 noodles and remaining meat sauce, cheese mixture, and noodles. Top with remaining tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into 8 portions.
